And what better way to keep that fire alive than with a heartfelt tribute that brings family, history, and legendary songs together all in one special afternoon? All that and more party people - especially when Matt Vee & The Killer Vees are coming back to town!
You heard that right folks! Our very own Midwestern heroes — the Vee family — are bringing their acclaimed show Remembering Bobby Vee to Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center on Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Alongside them are close family collaborators Mark Levandowski and George Maurer, making this show not just a performance, but a full-on family reunion with music, stories, and rare video footage that keeps Bobby’s spirit alive - and looks like we’re all invited to the front row of the show!

Right on University Avenue and a staple of the city for decades, some of the best artists EVER have come through here to make an appearance - everything from Broadway tours to symphonies to iconic artists. We got everything y’all - incredible sound, big open seating, and that kind of atmosphere that makes every show feel timeless. AKA, it’s perf for Matt Vee and the family to return to. Parking is free behind the auditorium, the staff always make it smooth to get in and out, and with will call opening 30 minutes before showtime, you’ve got everything you need for a great day out.
